Odd Thomas Movie, the Good and the Bad

I am a big fan of the Odd Thomas series, and I have been looking forward to the movie for a while now. Well today I found a leak trailer

It looks interesting…I personally think Stormy should be a little more gothy

Now for the bad news.
The producers are in a law suit, with some the backers of the movie, leaving the movie in legal and financial gridlock. In other words, it is assumed the movie will not come out. More info can be found here.

Something I found From Debbie.

Yesterday I went to HalfPrice Books. I was not looking for anything, but browsing. (I had a coupon and a giftcard) One of the books I looked at was  Warner Bros Animation Art.

I have always loved Animation.  It allows you to do anything, which encourages the use of you imagination.  Which is exactly what happen when I started flipping through the book, and saw the dedication.

To James:

Christmas 1997

I hope you enjoy leafing through this book! I know that’s not the most creative line, but I really do hope you enjoy this book.

I couldn’t reset it  – your name was written all over it 🙂

Love you “Looney Tune” wife –

Debbie 🙂

I now wonder how the book ended up in a resale shop, and what happened to this couple.

As Simple As Snow

So I have read this book twice now, and I still want to go back and reread it to see if I missed something.

The website does not help much, it adds to the fuel

The opening line grabs you and pulls you in

“Anna Cayne had moved here in August, just before our sophomore year in high school, but by February she had, one by one, killed everyone in town. She didn’t do it all by herself—I helped with a few, including my best friend—but still, it was no small accomplishment, even if it was a small town.”

She is not a killer.

If you have never read this book, and you like mysteries, you should read this book . It will keep you up at night pondering what it all meant.
